Godfather Of Go-Go Music Chuck Brown Dead At 75

Chuck Brown, a.k.a. The Godfather of Go-Go music, has reportedlydied today at the age of 75. According to our sister site wolDCnews, Chuck Brown has been hospitalized since mid-April as he battled pneumonia. He passed away at John Hopkins.

Chuck Brown was best known for his classic “Bustin’ Loose,” which laid the foundation for D.C.’s Go-Go music. (See video below.)
