Rapper DMX Becomes Deacon In Church

DMX has pulled a Mase. While X (real name Earl Simmons) always had a spiritual element in his music he ultimately stayed street. It was this duality that made the “dog for life” so popular. According to an interview X did with GlobalGrind.com, he states he “read the whole Bible” and was made a deacon at his old church Morningstar.
