Would you be okay with a high school randomly drug testing your kid?
That’s what’s happening at a school in Missouri. It’s part of a new anti-drug policy, where they’ll collect sixty strands of hair from randomly selected pupils, to be tested for cocaine, PCP, maijuana, and other substances.
And kids can’t opt-out. This is mandatory. This isn’t a high school with a bad reputation either; it’s a religious school. They gave students an anonymous survey, asking if the students thought their friends were using drugs, and so many of the kids answered “yes” that the school decided to drug test.
