Some California high school students can’t understand why chanting, “USA” and wearing American flag bandanas is a bad thing.
Four boys at Camarillo High School were recently told to leave a basketball game for what they say was a show of patriotism.
The game was against a school where most of the students are hispanic. A Camarillo administrator ushered the boys out after they got the crowd chanting, “USA” at halftime and refused to remove their bandanas.
The school’s principal said there were concerns that the chanting was racially motivated.
Do you feel the principal did the right thing?
