A dad is paying his 14-year old daughter two-hundred dollars to quit facebook.
Paul Baier made the deal, with his daughter Rachel, official with a facebook deactivation agreement that they both signed. The agreement states that Rachel will deactivate her Facebook account for the next five months. The Boston area dad is agreeing to pay her fifty dollars in mid-April and the rest at the end of June. Baier says the deal was his daughters idea.
A new report from the Pew Research Center shows about sixty percent of Facebook users have taken a break from the popular social networking site.
